Yoga Foundations - Start Here

Service Description

Want to try yoga but are worried you won’t know what to do or be able to keep up? Start here with us, right where you’re at. This class is designed for people new to the practice of yoga, but anyone is welcome. Focus on foundational postures of Ashtanga yoga, which are the building blocks for the flows created in slow burn and vinyasa classes. Attention given to proper alignment & body mechanics, building strength through transitions, improving balance, and core stability. Introduction to breathwork, finding stillness/meditation. Short flows. Lower heat. Modifications offered to make each pose accessible for diverse body shapes & sizes. The focus of each class will vary, but expect it to be a learn and apply style of session and not a continuous class without breaks. Consider each week an opportunity to add a building block to your practice. Come every week or drop in when you want to deepen your practice and application of concepts, movements, and breath. You will have opportunities to ask questions and get hands on help if you prefer. Come build your practice with us!

Cancellation Policy

Please understand that space is very limited and therefor cancellations made less than 4 hours prior to the start of class or no shows will result in the use of that class, for unlimited package holders there will be a $10 fee and we will send you an invoice for payment. For private classes late cancellations and no shows are charged the full booking rate. If you know you are unable to make a class, please cancel it as soon as you are able to in order to make that spot available for someone else. Thank you!
