FREE Community Gentle Nidra

Service Description

Join us for a FREE Community Gentle Nidra class. This class is truly for all levels, and is designed to ease you into a state of deep relaxation and stillness. We are bringing back FREE community classes and will be rotating the times and format throughout the year. This class will be on Fridays at 4pm through the end of the year. We want everyone to experience the profound benefits from this class, so invite your friend, partner, child, mother, father, or neighbor and let's invite greater peace into our lives collectively. This class will begin with a 30 minute session of gentle yoga, moving through a series of seated and mat-based postures connecting your breath to your body, improving relaxation, flexibility and recovery. In the second half of class, the teacher will guide you through a form of meditation known as Yoga Nidra or “yogic sleep.” Yoga Nidra is a state of consciousness that is said to be “peace beyond words” it’s the ultimate practice of non-doing. It is appropriate for all skill levels and is practiced lying comfortably on your back. Yoga Nidra soothes the nervous system and allows the body to relax and release tension. The practice also helps to quiet the mind and create a state of inner peace. Please bring a mat and if you have tender joints or tend to get cold easily we recommend bringing a blanket or things to make your mat more comfortable for your 30 minute rest. We have a limited number of rental mats available for $3 (exact cash preferred, cards accepted too, but take longer to process) Benefits of Yoga Nidra: 1. Cancellation Policy

Please understand that space is very limited and therefor cancellations made less than 4 hours prior to the start of class or no shows will result in the use of that class, for unlimited package holders there will be a $10 fee and we will send you an invoice for payment. For private classes late cancellations and no shows are charged the full booking rate. If you know you are unable to make a class, please cancel it as soon as you are able to in order to make that spot available for someone else. Thank you!
