Erin Biel

Introduction:

Hi! I’m Erin (she/her). I’m a proud Lanstronaut and Spartan and have called the greater Lansing area home for over twenty years. I’ve been in and out of Firefly since it first opened and officially joined the team in November 2025. No matter how long it’s been since I last walked up those steps, Firefly has always felt welcoming and familiar — and I’m honored to help foster that same sense of belonging and connection for others.

Beyond the Studio:

Outside the studio, Erin is deeply rooted in Lansing’s performing arts community. She’s a

member of Sistrum, Lansing’s premier treble chorus, where music and advocacy intersect

through work supporting LGBTQ+ rights, feminism, and social justice. She also volunteers

regularly at Riverwalk Theatre, both onstage and behind the scenes, embracing her identity as a lifelong theater kid. When she’s not singing or rehearsing, Erin is learning to knit — a practice that’s helping her slow down, relax, and enjoy the rhythm of winter. Her favorite post-class treat is an iced matcha from Strange Matter (often with a scone), and she lives by the reminder: “Don’t leave wishing you had given more.”
