Gracie Jordan

Meet Gracie Jordan, a passionate Barre and Sculpt instructor whose love for movement began with a simple invitation from her mom. After joining her for a barre class in 2022, Gracie fell in love with the energy, encouragement, and sense of community she found at Firefly. What started as a shared experience eventually inspired her to step outside her comfort zone and become an instructor herself.

From Student to Instructor

Gracie completed her barre instructor certification through Firefly Hot Yoga Barre in 2026, training under Abbey Weston and Jen Muffett. Although becoming an instructor initially felt intimidating, the experience helped her discover a newfound confidence that continues to grow with every class.

Now teaching both Barre and Sculpt, Gracie brings enthusiasm, encouragement, and a genuine appreciation for the community that first inspired her to teach.

Finding Confidence Through Movement

Gracie understands firsthand how intimidating it can feel to try something new. From walking into her first barre class to stepping into the role of instructor, she's discovered that some of life's most rewarding experiences begin just beyond our comfort zones.

During instructor training, someone shared a piece of advice that has stayed with her ever since:

"When you're feeling nervous, that means you care." Those words helped Gracie see nervousness differently—not as a reason to hold back, but as a sign that something matters. It's a perspective she carries into her teaching, encouraging students to embrace the experience without worrying about being perfect.

Her classes reflect the same supportive energy that made her fall in love with Firefly in the first place. Whether someone is brand-new or has been attending for years, Gracie wants everyone to feel welcome, capable, and encouraged.

Beyond the Studio

Outside Firefly, Gracie is pursuing a career in law. Between studying and her other commitments, the studio remains one of her favorite places to spend time. Whether teaching or taking a class herself, movement offers a chance to recharge, reconnect, and enjoy a little time away from the books.

A Little Wisdom to Share

Gracie knows that walking into your first class can be the hardest part. Her encouragement is simple:

"Everyone starts somewhere, and showing up for yourself is the most important thing you can do."

For Gracie, confidence isn't something you have to bring with you. It's something you build along the way, one class at a time.
